  • How can you use art to illustrate how electricity/technology has changed society?

  • Students will:
    • Work in groups of two/three; total of 27 students in class.
    • Investigate a period of time and how electricity and technology changed over that time period.
    • Create scrapbook pages to represent the types of changes and advances that were made throughout that time period.
    • Collate the pages in one scrapbook in chronological order.
    • Work together to analyze the changes and how they have effected society.
    • Upload photographs of their scrapbook pages to Voicethread and annotate each page.

    • 1600 - 1650
    • 1650 - 1700
    • 1700 - 1750
    • 1750 - 1800
    • 1800 - 1850
    • 1850 - 1900
    • 1900 - 1950
    • 1950 - 2000
    • 2000 - Present
